Special Auction Services

We hold around fifty auctions a year covering all areas of the affordable market, now in our brand-new and enormous saleroom near the centre of Newbury. Our emphasis is on the specialist collectors’ areas, such as diecast and tinplate toy cars, toy and model trains of all gauges and lead, plastic and composition figures, dolls, dolls’ houses, teddy bears, games and traditional wooden toys. We hold at least twelve auctions in these categories every year and are one of the top auction houses in these areas in the UK.

Apart from regular sales of jewellery, silver, furniture and paintings, our collectors’ sales also include rock and pop vinyl, which is increasingly popular, militaria, cameras, photographs, gramophones, hi-fi, stamps, postcards, cigarette cards, transport memorabilia and ephemera.  We hold special valuation days every Wednesday and our directors travel the country widely and are very to come and visit anyone with large, unusual or interesting collections. Almost every day in the auction business brings exciting discoveries and we are here to help find them.
