Derbyshire based promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, has announced the upcoming release of a 1/50 scale DAF XF 530 Space cap MY2017 (6x2) heavy recovery truck, customised in the livery of Welsh operator, Ken Williams Recovery.
Any model collector that would like to get their hands on one of these new models will need to be fast as the model is being produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles as a certified Limited Edition with a run of 125 pieces. Model collectors are advised to register their interest with Search Impex as soon as possible and provide their contact details. The new model truck is expected to be priced at around £169 each (including UK delivery and VAT).

The new 1/50 DAF XF model
The new DAF XF model comes embellished with Prince of Wales Feathers and the Welsh flag as well as a personalised number plate KW21 TOM which is a reference to Tom, the driver. Like its real-life counterpart, the diecast model will be finished in Ken Williams’ distinctive livery, complete with all the requisite trimmings and will make an attractive addition to any model truck collection!
