Simon Carson, the PTS chair said: ‘We have worked hard to make Stampex more cost effective so that we can remove the £10 entry fee on day one. We also know that many of our attendees are already subscribed to our newsletter and/or are following us on social media, so we’ve also streamlined the entry process by removing the need for registration and sign-in.’

This year, Stampex will welcome over 50 stand holders, all of which are verified PTS members, with a range of philatelic material available to buy. Those attendees wishing to sell their stamps will also be able to take advantage of the valuation services on offer. Brochures, catalogues and price lists will be available to pick up for free, as well as a show map so visitors can plan their day.

Who are the Philatelic Traders’ Society (PTS)?

The Philatelic Traders’ Society (PTS) was formed in 1929 by a group of established stamp dealers who wanted to be part of a group that would act for, and on behalf of its members. Early on the PTS began organising trade bourses, which developed into what is known today as Stampex.

The PTS is led by a body of 12 members who are elected annually. All members of the PTS are subject to the approval of the PTS council and its membership. Applicants must provide references and are only affiliated with the PTS when the council is satisfied.
