Vintage Star Wars Price Guide

Arguably one of the most talked about and buoyant areas of TV and film collecting is vintage Star Wars figures and vehicles. Not only did the original Star Wars figures set the standard for movie tie-ins, they've been incredibly collectable over the years and can now command prices into the thousands for a particularly rare figure.

So, to keep you abreast of the latest prices for Star Wars figures, we're embarking on a new project here at Collectors Club of Great Britain - a Star Wars Price Guide. Over the coming months, we'll keep you updated with the latest auction prices achieved for vintage and modern Star Wars figures/vehicles in the UK, which will hopefully give you a decent guide as to what your collection might be worth or what you should be paying at auction. Eventually, as the months go on, you'll be able to see trends in prices and whether a particular figure is becoming more or less valuable.

The items below are all taken from recent auctions at Vectis and Aston's, with descriptions taken from both. The prices quoted are the hammer prices and don't include any commission or VAT, so please bear that in mind.

Kenner Star Wars carded Chewbacca 1977 12 back figure. Contained in Star Case. Appears E, card intact at top, blister crushed and split at bottom. Sold for £320, Aston’s, May.



Kenner Star Wars carded Jawa 1978 12 back figure. Contained in hard plastic protective case. AFA graded 80 (C80 B80 F85), card pushed through at top. Sold for £360, Aston’s, May.



Kenner Star Wars carded Paploo 1985 Power of the Force 92 back figure, one of the last 17. Contained in hard plastic protective case. AFA graded 85 (C80 B90 F85), card pushed through at top. Sold for £90, Aston’s, May.



Lego Star Wars 10123 Cloud City. Includes instructions and eight minifigures (Boba Fett has plain legs). Appears mostly complete. Sold for £200, Aston’s, May.
